My house is such a mess, I'm too embarrassed to have anyone see it
If things weren’t a mess you wouldn’t be needing my help! Everyone has areas of their home that aren’t exactly as they would like them to be, and your home is not going to be any different. Please be assured that there is absolutely no judgement, I am here to help not criticise.
-
Will you make me get rid of everything?
No! These are your possessions and I understand that. In our initial consultation one of the questions I ask is how strict you would like me to be. If talking through items helps you come to a decision that you are happy with then that is what we will do. It just takes a bit longer. Some clients find it easier to let go of things than they anticipated whilst others find it harder which is why offering a personalised service is so important.

What happens to things I want to get rid of?
There will be two categories of things that you may not want to keep; those that can be thrown away or donated. If your household bins are full and/or you don’t have time to drop items off at a charity shop then for an additional £10 I will take away a car load of items and dispose of them in the most ecologically sound way possible or donate to charity as appropriate.

My partner thinks that this is going to be a waste of time
They aren’t the first and they won’t be the last! I have had experience of this and can only say that in every case they were thoroughly won over by the end of the first session!
-
What areas do you deal with?
Any that are causing unwanted stress! From bathroom cabinets to garages if there is unwanted clutter and confusion, I can help!
-
How long does decluttering take?
Unfortunately there is no one size fits all answer to this as every home is different. Things that effect this are:
the size of room
the amount of items that need to be rehomed
the amount of time that you want to spend thinking about each item
-
Do I need to be there?
Again, this depends on you. If it is a simple case of reorganising, this can be done without you and I will provide a detailed map of where things are. However, if you want to declutter at the same time your input will be needed. It can be as simple as spending 10 minutes going through a pile of items every hour or so. I have found that for more personal items having the client working alongside leads to the best outcome.
Please contact me and we can find a way to work that works for you.

When are you available?
Visits can be arranged to suit your lifestyle. If you’re busy working 9-5 then weekends and evenings are an option.
I do recommend a minimum session of 3 hours so we have a chance to get stuck in, get stuff done and still leave your space in a workable state afterwards.
-
What are your prices?
I charge £30 per hour. However, I have brilliant introductory and multiple booking rates available so please contact me for more details.

How far do you travel?
For a full (6 hour) day I will travel for up to an hour without any additional cost to you. Any other arrangements we can discuss and agree during your consultation.
